📣 Vincent Dance Theatre (VDT) is seeking an experienced Trusts & Foundations Bid Writer who understands the impact the arts can make in community settings to support us over the next 3-6 months.
This is a particularly exciting time for VDT, as we grow our programme of creative activity with communities in East and North Brighton in partnership with East Brighton Trust at our new base at Moulsecoomb Place.
We are seeking someone for 15–20 days of freelance support, to strengthen our fundraising activity and secure investment for our place based, social engagement and creative health projects.
The proposed framework includes:
• approx 2 days getting to know the organisation, our work and desired outcomes
• 2 days researching and creating a robust trusts and foundations pipeline for VDT’s activity
• 10 – 16 days writing high-quality funding applications (dependant on daily rate)
We’re looking for someone with:
✨ A strong track record of writing successful trusts and foundations bids
✨ Excellent knowledge of smaller Sussex-based trusts and foundations
✨Excellent knowledge of major funders and national opportunities
