Vincent Dance Theatre has been producing world-class dance theatre and engagement practice for over 30 years. We’ve amassed such knowledge and we are now asking ourselve questions about what we do with it all. We want to share it, but to do that we need to ask some big questions first.
- How do we introduce and ‘teach’ socially-engaged arts practice to dance and performance students so they can best understand the work involved?
- How do we create alternative and affordable insightful provisions for dance artists to become choreographers in the current landscape?
- How can we best share our understanding of creative health practice with social work students?
- How do we develop a safeguarding practice that goes beyond the facts and that is tailored to socially-engaged arts practice?
- As the world becomes increasingly polarised, how do we lead using trauma-informed management in workplaces?
We’d like to try to answer these questions in collaboration with other experts in relevant fields. We are working towards launching a new digital knowledge exchange and e-learning platform.
