VDT’s new Head of Operations & Business Development

We are delighted to welcome Sophie Parkin who joins VDT as our new Head of Operations and Business Development from 16 March 2026. Sophie comes to VDT with a wealth of business development and partnerships experience in arts and cultural settings. She will be responsible for company and staff management, driving income generation and supporting VDT’s marketing strategy. And fun fact, Sophie went to a high school in South Yorkshire which, as it turns out, was the first school in which Charlotte ever led a physical theatre workshop for VDT, back in 1994!
