Vincent Dance Theatre (VDT) offers bespoke workshops for schools, colleges and other education settings. Workshops and residencies for students or educators can focus on:
- Exploration of contemporary issues – these workshops focus on the creative exploration of the important social issues that inform Vincent Dance Theatre’s production work
- Movement / performance – these focus on physical work, choreography and performance skills
- Collaborative devising – these focus on devising original work and on approaches to choreography.
A range of different teaching and learning activities have been developed to meet the diverse needs of participants. They offer equal opportunities for young people or teachers to engage with high-quality art. They also develop skills for the exploration of their own creative agency. Activities can be aligned to a range of curriculum objectives across diverse programmes.
VDT also creates a range of resources to support students and educators.
