In Loco Parentis Online

‘I hadn’t expected to be as emotional as I was. Absolutely enthralling dance and theatre. Profoundly moving.’ Online audience member

Running Time: 90 minutes (no interval)
Age Guidance: 14+

In Loco Parentis sheds light on the extraordinary resilience of care-experienced young people, demanding that their stories be seen and heard. Three adult and two extraordinary young performers combine movement, visual imagery and spoken word to explore the cycles of rupture and repair that drive children into care.

This work contains content and explores themes that some people may find upsetting. Support Helplines for In Loco Parentis here.

Hear Vincent talk about the work on BBC Radio Lincolnshire (2/10/2020, at 01:46)

“What gives Vincent’s work its power is that it is born not of hot-housed theory but of lived experience. It comes from the heart and that’s not always a pretty place.” The Observer
