Chthonian Pleasures
1996, 55 mins
‘Not sex, but cruelty, is the great neglected item on the human agenda’ Camille Paglia
Set six inches deep in a circle of peat, Chthonian Pleasures explores the tensions between our desire for intimacy and our capacity to cause damage. Three performers caught in a vortex of aggression, empathy and eroticism.
