Safeguarding in the arts Training Day with Rochdale Creates

Safeguarding means making sure all people, especially vulnerable people, are safe from harm during your creative activities.  Over three sessions, this course offers a unique focus on artform-specific topics and specifically helps with developing policies for creative organisations, rather than traditional Level 1, 2, or 3 training.

Whether you’re a performer, educator, or administrator, this session is designed for Rochdale creatives who want to expand their work with vulnerable groups and to develop robust safeguarding policies.

Why Join?

Dr Charlotte Vincent’s ‘Safeguarding Questions for Working in the Arts’ will consider safeguarding from three different perspectives: artist, participant and audience, and will delve into case studies that demonstrate the issues.
