Leszek Bzdyl

Leszek Bzdyl started his professional career in 1987 working with Henryk Tomaszewski’s Wroclaw Pantomime Theatre and the Wojciech Misiuro’s Teatr Ekspresji. He has since collaborated with many theatres in Poland as a choreographer and movement director for international productions that include The Rape of Europe, a part of Landscape X: EURALIEN, a production of Intercult, Stockholm. In 1993 he founded Dada von Bzdulow Theatre together with Aurora Lubos, Patrycja Kujawska and other independent actors and dancers. In 2001 Leszek devised and performed in the Vincent Dance Theatre/Dada von Bzdulow collaboration, Drop Dead Gorgeous. He has taught dance and theatre workshops in Poland and abroad since 1990 and has lectured at the Ballet School of Gdansk and the Performing Arts School at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia. Leszek rejoined Vincent Dance Theatre to tour Punch Drunk in 2007. Leszek is based in Gdansk, Poland.
