Judy Ironside MBE

Judy is the Founder and President of UK Jewish Film. The UK Jewish Film Festival est.1997 has become the major exhibitor of films with Jewish themes in the UK and Europe, whilst cultivating both Jewish and non Jewish audiences. Year round UK Jewish Film offers various screenings and educational programmes in schools across the UK.

In 2007 Judy founded the Pears Short Film Fund at UK Jewish Film to encourage new filmmakers and promote film making in the UK.

Previously trained as a Drama Therapist, Judy has worked extensively with children and young people and as a mentor for teachers, therapists and practitioners working in education and the creative arts.

Judy joined the Board in 2023.
