CHAIR OF THE BOARD

New Chair of the Board of Trustees

VDT is looking for a new Chair of the Board to support the strategic operation of the charity.

We are looking for a Chair who can lead the management of meetings, set the tone of Board communication and provide support to the senior management team.

Externally, you will be VDT’s champion and advocate, strengthening our reputation and articulating the value and relevance of VDT.

We particularly welcome applications from people who are of African or Asian heritage or ethnically diverse, people with disabilities (including ‘invisible’ disabilities or neurodiversity such as autism and dyslexia) and people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, as these groups remain underrepresented in our sector.

TRUSTEES

New Trustees

VDT is looking for new Trustees to support the strategic operation of the charity.

Trustees work closely with the Chair and Artistic Director helping them to achieve the aims of Vincent Dance Theatre. We think having a more diverse range of voices and lived experience around the table will help us develop our plans and a more robust business model. We already have Trustees with expertise in working with young people; delivering participation; working with HEIs/research; in the commercial world and with good knowledge about inclusion – so would welcome new Trustees with different skills.

We need Trustees able to robustly scrutinise our budgets, the delivery of our mission, our business model and how we meet new Funding Agreements – and any new Trustee would be supported to do this. We think it’s a great opportunity to make a real difference. Externally, you will be VDT’s champion and advocate, strengthening our reputation and articulating the value and relevance of VDT.
